Covid Guidance

There have been no recent changes to the Government’s guidance regarding COVID-19. The current advice states that adults who test positive should avoid contact with other people for 5 days and avoid meeting people at higher risk for 10 days, from the day after testing positive. Children who test positive should stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days. If they are well and do not have a temperature after 3 days, there is a much lower risk that they will pass COVID-19 to others. If someone just feels unwell and has not tested positive, they should stay at home until they feel better and no longer have a high temperature. It is no longer recommended that children are tested for COVID-19 on a regular basis unless directed to do so by a health professional. If someone in a household does test positive, a child is still expected to attend school as normal.

In school, we will maintain preventative measures, including good ventilation and maintaining clean workspaces.  

Please inform the school office if your child tests positive. Let us know if they are fit to receive some home-learning activities and we will send some work via Microsoft Teams. Please see the school's Remote Learning policy for further details:
