Pupil Premium   

 At STM, we aim to: provide a curriculum that introduces pupils to the essential knowledge that they need to be educated citizens, by introducing them to the best that has been thought and said helping to support an appreciation of human creativity and achievement. We celebrate uniqueness, encouraging and enabling each child to reach their potential.

In pursuit of these aims, we strive towards a more equitable society where all children are able to access high quality education and opportunities, irrespective of their background or family circumstances.

The Pupil Premium Funding is provided by the Government to support children from low-income families who are eligible for free school meals (FSM). or have been at any point in the last six years (Ever 6); children looked after (CLA) and those from families with parents in the Armed Forces (SC). Sports Premium

The Government give funding  to promote physical education (PE) and school sport. This funding is ring-fenced and is allocated directly to schools in England, providing a dedicated resource to purchase invaluable resources, expertise and support. Funding is allocated through a lump sum to each school, based on pupil numbers. 

At STM, we have used the funding to enhance teaching and learning by providing high-quality continued professional development to upskill our staff, buy in local expertise and purchase resources to support  the development of positive attitudes to sports and promote healthy lifestyles.
